"Do Not Fear The End Times"

I watched a very encouraging message this week by  a messianic rabbi, Jonathan Cahn, in which he
said those very inspiring words: "Do not fear the end times." He reminded the audience that though the end times are full of fearful signs to the world and  persecution against both His people Israel and the Church of Jesus Christ, they are also a sign if impending return of our Lord and wonderful sings and wonders of God among those of us who remain holy and faithful to Him.

God is doing amazing things around the world, and we should not be afraid or discouraged by the evil we see daily around us. Instead, we must come closer to the Light and be more dedicated to what is holy and good, only then we can overcome the darkness that is deepening day by day.

But in the deepest darkness the light always shines brighter. We are living in the times when the culture of the world is hostile towards the gospel of Jesus, just as it was when our message just began to be preached. And we know what happened. The empire that persecuted the Church and destroyed the Temple fell apart, her might is no more. So, it will be with that last of empires that is rising now as well as with any other anti-Christ ideology or movement, such as Islam.

The more they will persecute the Church, the greater their fall will be. We must have a long view of things, just as our eternal Father who has an eternal view of things. He may allow evil to triumph for a time, just to uproot and destroy it completely later on. He is the one who fights our battles, so do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but can do no harm to your soul. The victory is on our side.

Below is the link to that video message. Please watch it in your free time and do not fear the end times. I dedicate it especially to our brothers and sisters in Russia, who are also mentioned in this video.

Two Years To Jerusalem 2018

Back in May 2008, I published an article titled "The Countdown To Jerusalem 2018," in which I
shared the pattern that my husband and I noticed in Scriptures. That pattern links number 70 to very important events in the history of the Jewish people culminating in the destruction of the Second Temple by the Romans in A.D. 70 , which fulfilled the prophecy given by Jesus Christ nearly 30 years earlier.

In the same prophecy recorded in the New Testament Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke; Jesus predicted that the destruction of the temple will not be the end of this age, but only the "beginning of sorrows." We reasoned that if that pattern holds, then something very significant for Israel should take place in the year 2018 because it will be the year in which Israel will celebrate 70th anniversary of its rebirth, which itself was part of Jesus' prophecy about the end times in which we are now living.

"But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And then he will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.
From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away." ( Mark 13: 24-31)

The fig tree always symbolises the nation of Israel. When Jesus cursed a fig tree that did not bring its fruit when He was hungry, He was showing that God the Father in like manner will judge the nation for not repenting at the preaching and ministry of His Son, but He was also saying in the above passage that after judgement has passed there will come the time of mercy and rebirth, which is signified by the budding of the fig tree.

From the context of this passage we also inferred that this rebirth was the sign that the Second Coming of the Son of God was nearing, and just like in A.D. 70 came judgement, so 70 years from the time of rebirth will come the redemption or the beginning of the season of redemption in Israel.

We predicted that as the time of 2018 will come closer other signs that Jesus spoke of will be intensifying. There will be more wars, revolutions, more social unrest,  more epidemics, natural disasters including more mega earthquakes, and economic shaking or even a collapse.

All of these we are witnessing year after year, since 2008, the year of the so called "Great Recession," from which global economy hasn't really recovered. Then came the "Arab Spring", out of which a barbaric blood thirsty group called ISIS emerged wreaking havoc not only in Middle East, but all over the world. There were couple of pandemics, several mega earthquakes such as in Japan ( 2011) or more recently in Nepal (2015). It is a quite a decade to say the least.

Then there were also "signs in the heavens" such as the four blood moons each one of them falling on a Jewish holiday, and following that  is the year of Jubilee, which many are saying begins the last 70th Jubilee cycle during which the Messiah is believed to return.

Orthodox Jewish groups in Israel are preparing to rebuild the temple, which will be The Third Temple, they even revived the practice of the sacrifice of the Passover lamb on the replica of the altar as a sign of their faith that soon the temple will be in fact rebuilt, and perhaps in 2018 something will happen that will bring it closer to reality. I guess we will still have to wait and see for couple of more years. One thing is certain, whether they will rebuild the temple or not, Jesus will return just as He said he would and we might have anywhere from 2 -50 years until that Day if our biblically educated guesses are correct. No one can know the exact Day and hour, but we sure can know the season and are commanded by God to watch the signs and to be ready.

When Sudden Destruction Comes

"Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober. For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night."

Those were the words of apostle Paul written to the church of Thessalonica nearly 2000 years ago. I was reminded of that verse when a dear friend of mine who rarely receives any prophetic dreams and visions told me about a dream vision she did have on October 16 th of this year.

In this dream vision she was watching TV when a regular programming was interrupted with a message "destruction in 400 days." She felt that it was a warning that was issued once before and she had a sense of unease and foreboding, as well as a desire to warn others, but had no specifics of where this would take place and what kind of destruction it would be.

When we calculated 400 days from the time she received this vision, we arrived at the date of November 20, 2016. This day interestingly coincides with the end of the "holy year of mercy" of which the beginning Pope Francis proclaimed just yesterday and celebrated it with a show of nature photography using St. Peter's Basilica in Rome as the background.

Could it be referring to Rome? It is quite possible, but we just don't know for sure as we were not given any more information. What we do know for sure though is what the Scriptures tell us will happen in the end times.

The Book of Revelation clearly describes the destruction of the city of Rome in the end times and the Roman Catholic prophecies of st. Malachy as well as the third secret of Fatima seem to echo this as well, though I do not give them the same credence as I do to the Scriptures. But it is a very interesting convergence nevertheless.

Apostle Paul stated clearly that this sudden destruction will be a form of judgment upon  unbelievers and their world system and he charges us to be "sober" and "alert." We can see that the various parts of the world system are unravelling right now and the world leaders including the Pope are trying to use the issue of climate change to bring global unity, calling effectively for UN to begin acting as de facto world government.

This in turn will only pave the way for the appearance of the man whom the Bible calls the Antichrist, who will eventually become a global dictator. In addition to that, just recently, there was a conference held in the United States regarding the ethics of a new technology of DNA editing  that will in theory allow scientists to delete genetic mutations that cause a disease, but it will also alter a person irreversibly in possibly unforeseen ways as well.

Now we have the power  not only to destroy our environment, but also to alter our own genetic code. The Bible warned us of the consequences of that in the story of Noah's flood, in which God was forced to intervene because His creation was being corrupted by genetic experiments done on both animals and human beings by fallen angels. Most people focus on the sin of violence as a reason for this judgment, but a careful study reveals that there was much more going on than that.

Jesus warned us that the days before His second coming would be just like the days of Noah and this is what is happening now. God promised that he would not completely annihilate the world, but He will intervene by destroying the corrupt world system before it destroys the earth.

I encourage all my readers to watch  following video that deals with those very issues.

When The Supreme Court Judges Stand Before The Supreme Judge

It was sad, but expected. The Supreme Court of the United States joined its Canadian counterpart in ruling that gay marriage is constitutional according to the human law, but that still does not make it legal by the divine law.

The Supreme Judge of the Universe already ruled from eternity that marriage is a union between one man and one woman. Nothing is ever going to change that. I do not fear for the people like myself who still choose to say the truth about it, but for the supreme court judges who will one day have to stand before The Supreme Judge who created mankind and instituted marriage. What they are going to tell Him? I pray they will repent before the day of their judgement comes.

Many Christians in America are feeling shaken by this, but they should not be surprised. We are living in the last days and we were warned in the Bible that as the end times progress, the world is going to get spiritually darker, but we are children of the light who should not fear the darkness.

All the more we need to let our light shine before men, so that they will see that light and will be drawn to it. We need to live the gospel out without diluting it and without compromising its integrity. We cannot allow ourselves to become salt that has lost its flavour.

How can we advocate for traditional marriage when the divorce rate is so high? This needs to change. We must submit to God in all things and begin to live by the Spirit, not by the desires and selfishness of our flesh. We have to stop living like the world, so we will not be suffering like it does.

We can only lead by example and things came to this point mainly because many of us don't. I am very blessed to have a godly husband and because we chose God's ways above our flesh, we are happily married now for over 15 years. But we did build our marriage on a solid foundation. We waited for sex until we were married, we did not even kiss before our wedding night. We also chose to do everything we can to make our marriage work by submitting to one another and placing the good of the family above our own desires.

It is sad to see when other Christian couples do not do that because it causes their marriages to suffer or even end in divorce. It doesn't have to be this way, it should not be this way.

As Christians we will one day stand before The Supreme Judge too to answer for what kind of examples we were to the world. The world cannot be changed by politics, but it will be changed by the power of the gospel and the very living presence of God. Let us draw near to Him, so He would draw near to us and shelter us when the judgement falls on the ungodly.

Remember that every nation and culture in history that embraced and celebrated same sex eventually imploded on itself. Sodom, Gomorrah, Greek and Roman empires, where are they today? I am afraid that Western civilization as we know it will meet the same fate. There will be more and more lawlessness, religious extremism, and violence until the freedom the West so cherished will be lost to ruthless dictatorship. For freedom can be enjoyed fully and can last only in godly societies where people practice the golden rule. Democracy will never work for the lawless, godless, selfish, and greedy-it never had.
