Is Pope Francis "Peter The Roman", The Last Pope?

Article originally written by me on the day of Pope Francis' election on March 13, 2013

There was much anticipation all over the world at the election of the new pope as various prophecies, the most notable one being st.Malachy’s prophecy of the popes, declared him to be the very last pope of the Roman Catholic Church.
At last, today on March 13, 2013, Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina was elected Pope Francis I. On the face of it, this election seems to prove St. Malachy wrong as he described this pope as Peter The Roman during whose papacy Rome would be burned with fire and judged, ending with the ominous words, “The End.”

Even though  Pope Francis  was born in Argentina, he is the son of the Italian railway worker according to his biography. It would be interesting to know if he indeed hailed from Rome or not. Regardless of whether he matches the prophecy of the popes or not, I find this election quite spooky for several reasons.
The first one is the fact that on the very evening of the day Pope Benedict XVI publically resigned, the St.Peter’s Basilica in Rome was hit twice by lighting evoking the prophetic words of Jesus recorded in the Gospel of Luke 10: 18, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”

Then, his election falls on a 13 day of the 13 year of this century; the number 13 being famously important number in the satanic, masonic, and occult circles. Even adding up the numbers in the date comes to 13, he was also ordained a priest on December 13, which led him on path to becoming the pope.  Then, the white smoke indicating his election rose from a Sistine Chapel precisely on 7: 06 PM Italian time, the numbers again adding up to 13. In the Bible number 13 indicates rebellion from the very first time this number is mentioned in Genesis 14:4, where we read, "Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they REBELLED." And not by accident, I believe, the Beast of Revelation is described in chapter 13.
He chose as his Francis as his papal name, after St. Francis of Assisi, who is known for supernatural signs called “stigmata” and having visions of Jesus and Mary as well as being the one who had successful agreements with the Muslims, which might be a hint as to the direction of this papacy. He is also the first Jesuit priest ever elected to be the pope.

Does this mean anything? Are these numbers just coincidences? Personally, I don’t believe in coincidences. As a Bible believing Christian, I know that everything has its meaning. There are the plans that God has for mankind, and there are also the plans of Satan who always does everything possible to try to prevent God’s plans from being fulfilled. In this effort he infiltrates even Christian churches in order to corrupt them from within and The Roman Catholic Church is not only no exception, but really the prime example of it.

Please do not think that I am here criticising or condemning all Roman Catholics, far from it, as I know that there are many faithful followers of Jesus within the Roman Catholic Church. I have Roman Catholic roots myself, but I also recognize that the Roman Catholic Church system does not operate according to God’s design found in the Bible and therefore it is not representing of the real universal(catholic) Church of our Lord Jesus Christ and is described in the book of Revelation as “Mystery Babylon” or “The Great Harlot.”

 According to the Book of Revelation, it is to be destroyed in the last days with fire. Revelation 18:2-9 states:

“Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!
She has become a dwelling place for demons,

A haunt for every unclean spirit,

A haunt for every unclean bird,

A haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.

 For all nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality,

And the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her,

And the merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living.”

Then I heard another voice from heaven saying,

“Come out of her, my people,

Lest you take part in her sins,

Lest you share in her plagues;

 For her sins are heaped high as heaven,

And God has remembered her iniquities.

 Pay her back as she herself has paid back others,

And repay her double for her deeds;

Mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed.

 As she glorified herself and lived in luxury,

So give her a like measure of torment and mourning,

Since in her heart she says,

‘I sit as a queen,

I am no widow,

And mourning I shall never see.’

 For this reason her plagues will come in a single day,

Death and mourning and famine,

And she will be burned up with fire;

For mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.”

Notice the emphasis on the “sexual immorality” in this passage of Scripture as the new pope will be dealing with the very problem of sexual immorality among its very leadership, its high ranking clergy. Whether this will be the very last pope still remains to be seen, but we should all keep in mind that unlike other prophecies, those written in the Bible will always come true. We should never put trust in human beings for they are all without any exception fallible. Only God Himself is infallible and only He deserves the title of the Holy Father. To call any man by this title is nothing short of blasphemy according to the Lord Jesus Himself who thus exhorted us, "And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.""( Matthew 23:9-12)
